Oily Skin

Oily skin is characterized by an overproduction of sebum, the natural oil of the skin. This excessive sebum production often results in a shiny complexion, enlarged pores, and a propensity for acne breakouts. People with an oily skin type may frequently experience a greasy forehead due to the overproduction of sebum.

Possible Causes: Genetics, hormonal fluctuations (especially during puberty or menstrual cycles), overuse of skincare products that
strip the skin of oil (leading to rebound oil production), and environmental factors.
