Acne-Prone Skin

Acne-prone skin is susceptible to the development of various acne lesions, including blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, and cysts. It can affect various areas of the face, chest, and back. Additionally, individuals may experience specific types of acne such as blood-filled pimples, eyebrow pimples, pimples on the temples, and even pimples on the lower lip.

Possible Causes: Excessive sebum production, clogged hair follicles, bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes) on the skin, hormonal fluctuations (common during adolescence, pregnancy, or menstruation), certain medications, and a family history of acne.
